Order scanning system
In 2008 Van Gennip started to digitalize its orders by a scanning system. The digital order system meant that customers, after choosing the styles they like, immediately had the digital order in their mailbox with all pictures and information.
Warehouse management system
Due to the new changed rules of buying for our customers the logistic procedure has changed drastically. Instead of delivering a pre pack; each article has to be packed manually. To avoid delays in delivery Van Gennip has changed their WMS system to a new one to serve the customer more efficiently and without delays.
